Renovent HR: a continiously refreshed indoor air
The Renovent HR is available in three types, Small, Medium and Large. Maximum capacities are 180, 300 and 400 m3/h at 150 Pa respectively. The Renovent HR is available in a left-handed and right-handed version (4b, 2b/2o, 3b/1o).
The heart of the appliance is the synthetic, counterflow heat exchanger with an efficiency of 95%. This means that the cool, fresh outdoor air is heated up to almost the indoor temperature.
Two fans are required for extracting and supplying the air. These are direct current fans with a low energy consumption. The unique feature of the Renovent HR is that it has constant flow fans; the user sets the flow rate and the appliance itself controls the rpm.
Bypass for night ventilation
In summer, the hot daytime indoor air is replaced by cool night air in so far as possible. The Renovent HR Medium and Large are available ex factory with a bypass for night ventilation that shuts off almost completely. Then all air is routed through the bypass unit. A bypass unit can also be retrofitted. In that case roughly 70% of the supply air is routed around the Renovent HR heat exchanger.
